greenTech Forever
Since finishing development on greenTech+, my attention has been drawn to methods of successfully advertising the game. The initial trailer went up a few months ago and I plan to host a few adverts on various websites but my best idea only came to me a few days ago; to fill the gap left by the impending release of Duke Nukem Forever and turn the Xbox Live Indie Games version of greenTech+ into the worlds most talked about vapourware. The only detail I haven’t worked into my 14-year plan is whether to hand the reigns to Gearbox further down the line. They would make a cool greenTech game I’m sure.
If the above fooled you then stop reading now, if not then you probably realised it was a poorly constructed fabrication to draw attention away from the fact that greenTech+ has still not been released for XBLIG. Whilst it would be better and less painful if it was all part of a carefully planned release schedule, it is not. The game has failed to pass the Peer Review process required for the game to be placed on the service multiple times. Not because there is anything wrong with the gameplay, but because of dreaded Xbox- specific bugs which also plagued the release of Shellblast HD. They will be ironed out eventually, but the submission process has a very slow turnaround at the moment, hence the long delay.
As the last time I posted was over a month ago, I felt a progress update was in order, so this is that. If you are stuck for Indie Games to play, then I recommend ‘Zombie Football Carnage’ and ‘Mute Crimson’, both of which are amongst my favourite titles on the XBLIG channel.

greenTechPlus In Review Now
The game was given the greenlight (no pun intended (awful pun if it was)) a few weeks ago and is currently going through the peer review process necessary for release on Xbox Live Indie Games. It shouldn't be much more than a week but as usual with XBLIG submissions, no firm date can be provided.
While on the topic of greenTechPlus I am very excited to spread the news that today, the game was released through the Playstation Minis service, courtesy of Vertigo Games and YoYo Games. That means it can be played on both the PSP and PS3, which is extremely cool and makes me all kinds of jealous. Best of luck to them with the launch. More information and a download link can be clicked up below.

greenTechPlus Finished! Delayed...
After implementing changes inline with feedback from the playtest carried out on the Apphub website, greenTech Plus is now complete. Perhaps the most radical change to come out of it was the decision to take the hurricane controlled by the player off the grid-based movement system.
It was a point of contention for many playtesters and now the choice is available to either snap the hurricane to the grid or move it freely. Best of both worlds.
Onto the bad news, the game is not going to be available on the Xbox Live Indie Games service before the year is up. Sorry for those waiting for a release but rest assured that the game is ready to go and once I recieve the OK from necessary parties, it will be sent for peer review.
